Data Processing Agreement

As a landlord using VeriRent, you act as a data controller under GDPR. VeriRent acts as your data processor. GDPR Article 28 requires a written agreement between us.

Definitions

Applicant means the individual whose data is being screened before a leasing decision. The same person is the Tenant after they sign a lease. Landlord means you, the controller initiating the screening. User covers any natural person interacting with the Service.

By continuing, you agree that:

→You will use tenant data only for residential screening decisions
→You will not share verification reports with unauthorized third parties
→You will comply with all applicable laws when making rental decisions based on verification results
→You will honor tenant data deletion requests forwarded by VeriRent
→VeriRent processes data within the EU (Frankfurt) and deletes biometric data within 30 days
